How can attendees receive a check-in QR code?

QR codes can be received two different ways. First, after registering for your event through CrowdPass, attendees will receive a QR code to the email they registered with, which can be added to Apple Wallet. Second, event organizers can send out QR codes to all of their attendees through CrowdPass either via Email or SMS message by bulk uploading them into the platform.

What are the reasons to assign Attendee Groups?

Groups are assigned in CrowdPass for two different use cases. For Access Control, assigning attendees to groups allows you to control who can enter or scan into specific event areas. For example, if certain areas are restricted to specific ticket types, attendees not associated with the correct group will trigger a red scan (denied access). For Badge Printing, when multiple badge designs are being printed onsite, assigning attendees to their specific groups ensures CrowdPass prints the correct badge design for each attendee based on their group.

Can an attendee be a part of multiple groups?

No, attendees can only be associated with one group at a time. You are however able to change their group throughout an event and their access will be updated as well.

How do Event Areas work?

Event Areas let you define distinct zones within your event. You can add Gates to control multiple entrances or activities, limiting how many people can come through a specific entrance. You can also set a check-in limit that will cap the number of people that can scan into an event area.

Select the attendee or attendees that you want to send an email to, click the "Send Email" button, craft your subject and email and preview it on our email preview. You can send the email right away or schedule it out by date, time and timezone.

The CrowdPass Mobile app allows you to take NFC/RFID scanning on the go. Simply scan attendees into the event using the venue check-in feature. The app also allows for attendee NFC pairing and making quick edits to attendee registration or access level in real time.

How does Lead Retrieval work on the CrowdPass App?

Attendees who are approved to use the lead retrieval function will be able to log into the app and open the lead retrieval feature. They can scan attendee QR codes or tap NFC to track leads. You are able to add notes about each lead and all data is exportable.

How do I create an attendee account on CrowdPass?

Visit crowdpass.co, click "Login/Sign Up" in the upper right corner, click "I'm Looking to Attend Events!", enter the email address you'd like to use, and you'll receive a 4-digit code to your email. Click continue and begin registering for your event.

How do I log in to my CrowdPass attendee account?

Visit CrowdPass and click "Login/Sign Up". If you have a CrowdPass account, enter your email address and receive a 4-digit code to your email. From the "My Events" page, you can see the events you are registered to. If you forgot your password, click "Forgot password?" and follow the directions sent to your email.
